Polyethylene in Plastic Processing
General Overview
Polyethylene is a widely used, cost-effective polymer with several applications. Polyethylene comes in several forms, including low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), each of them, suitable for a specific application and processing method. While LDPE is flexible, HDPE is sturdy, and LLDPE provides a balance of flexibility and strength. These qualities allow for the manufacture of a wide range of products.
Film Casting

Razan Polymer is a global supplier of raw materials for the production of stretch, shrink, and agricultural films as well as packaging, shopping bags, and cast films. Plastic is melted and stretched during the process to produce thin, superior films. While maintaining thickness and addressing environmental concerns remain challenges, improved cooling techniques and biodegradable solutions offer potential solutions. The most commonly used polymers for these films include HD-7000F, HD-5110, LD-LFI2119, LD-2420H, LL-0209AA&KJ, and LL-235F6.
Rotational Molding

One of the major activities of Razan Polymer is the export of HD-3840UA and HD-3030UA to various countries. These polyethylene raw materials can be used in the rotomolding manufacturing process to create traffic signs, boats, IBC cubes, and water tanks. Due to its strength and resistance to impact, HDPE is used in rotational molding, making it excellent for large, hollow goods. To ensure a consistent coating, plastic is heated in a rotomolding machine and then cooled.
Extrusion

Another focus of Razan Polymer is the export of polyethylene HDPE PE100, PE80 and HD-EX3 for the production of water pipes, gas pipes, and sewage pipes in various forms, including virgin, compounds and recycled materials. The manufacturing process for these products is extrusion, with other available products using this method including HD-5000S and LEC-1969. Polyethylene is perfect for extrusion, which may produce pipes, sheets, nets, and ropes. In this process, to make continuous forms, plastic is melted and forced into a mold.
Blow Molding

Blow molding is a crucial process for many industries, and Razan Polymer supplies the necessary raw materials for producing hollow plastic products such as bottles, containers, and drums. In this process, plastic is melted and formed into a parison (a tube-like piece), which is then inflated into a mold to create the final shape. We exports polyethylene grades including HD-BL3, HD-HBM5510, HD-HBM5520, HD-HBM5020 and HD-HB0035, which have outstanding strength, durability, and stress resistance in the environment and are appropriate for blow molding applications.
Injection Molding

Razan Polymer also specializes in supplying raw materials for injection molding, a widely-used technique for producing housewares, thin-walled containers, caps, closures, crates, pallets, and technical parts like shipping containers and fish crates. In order to create elaborate and precise shapes, plastic is heated and injected into a mold. Our polyethylene grades HD-52518, HD-62N07, HD-52505UV, HD-60507UV, HD-5030 SA and LIM-1922 are ideal for injection molding, offering excellent mechanical properties and versatility. Whether you're producing large dustbins, automotive components, or household items, our materials satisfy different industries' needs and guarantee reliability and high standards in each application.
